SpeedQueen Underground
Hailing from the scenic beauty of the Columbia River Gorge, SpeedQueen Underground was formed out of the ashes of two other bands. Their music is inspired by "a myriad of influences, but primarily the bi-product of our world view and lurid imaginations." SQU is made up of five friends looking for a distraction from day to day life in the rat race. The result is a satyrical pop-punk rock show with enough groove to keep the dance floor moving. |

Runaway Norm
Runaway Norm was born many years prior to its first live performance. Indeed, the concept of a group of young musicians with incomparable talent and a desire to play relevant music first lived in the hearts of two young college students. Tygh and Matt started as scrappy musicians strumming guitar for pennies and pride at Oregon State University, drawn together with a passion for acoustic-driven rock music. But they didn’t have a voice. Enter Nick. Nick’s combination of provocative, thoughtful lyrics and a remarkably clear and distinctive voice create an atmosphere where the listener feels privy to an intimate and intoxicating conversation. But the boys needed a beat. So the two guitarists and the vocalist enlisted the help of their longtime friend, Geoff, to play drums. In the winter of 2004-05, words were put to paper were put to song were pierced to the soul of the Portland music scene. What came next was a spirited cocktail of deep acoustic riffs, smooth electric leads, and sing-along melodies. |

The Ultronz
The Ultronz CD's feature music with a Rock, Ska, Power-Pop, and Reggae influence along with our original "Astro-Surf-Sound". The songs were primarily written by the two most enduring artists in the band, Eugene Gray and Jeff Smith over the last 12 years. The Ultronz achieved popularity with wind surfers and surfers around the world with their raging, slam dancing style in the 80's and 90's along with songs that have a breezy tropical sound. In 1987 they introduced their music in Hood River, Oregon to a brawling audience of boardheads. Their audience danced to a band sharing amplifiers and using broomsticks for mike stands. They have remained their most loyal fans. |

Dirty Martini
Dirty Martini is a blissful union of three of the Pacific Northwest’s finest singer songwriters Lara Michell, Stephanie Schneiderman, and McKinley. They each had successful solo careers (one toured with David Crosby as his opening act, one won a spot on the Lillith Fair tour, and one was in Carmina Pirhana, a band that composed music for the Oregon Ballet) when they decided to do a Portland Valentine’s Day show together. It was a songwriter in the round format and they each played their brutal, love will kick you in the ass and leave you bleeding songs. |
